As a descendant of San Francisco Italian and Ligurian food companies, the highest level of standards and integrity in the ingredients are a part of everything I create. In accordance my heritage, this is the way my family approaches everything we do. Trained as a Certified Tea Sommelier, Artisan Tea Blender, Dietetian, Holistic Nutrition Health Coach, and RTT™Hypnotherapist, when I created my own product line I wanted to focus on small batch hand-blended teas, with lower caffeine, are bright, vivid, tasteful and pure. Blends that enlight the soul and ignite passions. Combining only carefully sourced ingredients enhancing one’s health, adding nothing artificial in accordance with my high standards, the culinary notoriety of my family, and with respect for our bodies. For over a decade I created, managed and directed “The Afternoon Tea Society”, a tea lover’s club based in Washington D.C. As my reputation as a featured keynote speaker at hundreds of Health & Wellness Expos, The World Tea Expo™, American Cancer Society™ and countless Tea Symposiums, speaking on the Health benefits of tea and cancer grew, I decided we needed to add a component to the Tea Society to educate, fund-raise, hold hands aas we created and donated hundreds of “tea gift baskets” and funds to women undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Standing by that commitment to wellness my name and face on the label of my teas stand to assure you of my commitment to purity and integrity.
For me, tea transcends the teapot- it’s my artist’s palette. The fragrant aromas of the tea leaves, the bright colors of the blossoms, the rich sweetness of the fruit and the sensual notes of the spices inspire me to create blends that are deeply satisfying, deeply passionate and deeply personal, allowing me to bring my culinary tea imagination to life. I’ve spent 30 years traveling the world as a Tea Sommelier, Consultant and speaker to the Tea Trade. I have had the privilege of speaking at Wellness Symposiums, training tea staff and developing recipes for Tea rooms and Restaurants. I have enjoyed more than 40 years in the world of food and hospitality, nutrition, cooking, and International entertaining. More recently I have become a certified RTT™ Hypnotherapist, and Dietless Life™ Coach.
Along the way, I have been inspired by countless numbers of people who I have talked with about their desire for more flavorful, pure, yet satisfying and healthful teas. I became inspired to find ways to incorporate more healthful yet satisfying tea into the diet, honouring many who desire to shift away from coffee, often requiring less caffeine/theine. As a Dietless Life™ Coach, I infuse my clients with health and wellness by helping them tailor their culinary world aligned with DietlessLife™ principles as I curate dishes using tea as both a culinary flavouring and a source of comfort in a cup, as the body realigns and reawakens to true potential, clarity and ultimate happiness.
