With its heady, summery fragrance and lush fruit flavors, Sonata really sings. To compose this beautiful blend, I combined rich, sultry dried fruits, including sweet strawberries, tart rhubarb, and mellow mango, with vibrant green tea to create a symphony of flavors—each ingredient hits just the right note, in perfect harmony. Smooth, melodic, and bursting with Vitamin C and antioxidants, Sonata makes a lovely interlude any time of day. Serve it hot in a pretty mug, or sweetened in a tall glass over ice.

Brewing Guide

Pre-heat your tea vessel.
Measure a scant 1 tsp. of tea into a filter.
Pour 6 oz. of simmering—not boiling—water over tea and steep for 1–3 minutes.
{Boiling water will mar the delicate leaves.}
Strain, pour and enjoy! Be sure to compost spent tea leaves. {Given measurements are per serving.}

Serving Suggestions

Measure 5 tbs. of tea for every quart of water. Pour freshly simmering water over tea, steep for 5 minutes then strain.
Dissolve 1⁄3 cup cane sugar in tea then refrigerate. Serve in tall glasses over ice and garnish with fresh fruit slices.

Food Pairing

Sonata’s fruity, refreshing flavors harmonize with many foods, but for a truly phenomenal duet, pair this tea with your favorite key lime dessert. Rich mango and papaya mingle marvelously with bright citrus on the tongue, striking a resonant chord that takes teatime to new heights.
